After time in the oven and with a little salt we enjoyed every one and this became just one of our many family traditions at Halloween time.I will never forget what my father did every year for a laugh. After dark and while the little kids were still out, he would get in the trunk of mothers car, he would hold the lid down until a large group of trick or treaters would be walking by and he would jump out and yell Happy Halloween you little ghouls. Most of the kids were on a scary emotional edge anyway but when he did that they would jump straight up!
